Modi Is Most Talked About In Facebook Followed By Sachin, iPhone 5s


Facebook published top life events, top check-ins and most talked topics around the world for the year 2013. There were few countries included like India, USA, UK, Russia, Italia, Singapore and more. At present Facebook has 1.19 billion monthly active users around the world and has 82 million monthly active users in India for the quarter ending June 31, 2013. Those events, places and topics were been in the trend by those 1.19 billion active users.

Facebook mentioned that, 
"Take a look at the most mentioned people and events of 2013, which point to some of the most popular topics in India,"
Regarding the most talked topics in India was a surprise one because Sachin Tendulkar "God Of Cricket" who had retired from cricket recently was at 2nd position, and 1st position was occupied by Gujarat Chief Minister Mr. Narendra Modi. Other positons were occupied by iPhone 5s, Raghuram Rajan and Mangalyaan. Mangalyaan's position was also a shocking one as it was a life time achievement by Indian scientist, any way happy that it occupied within five positions.


The top check-ins in India for the year 2013 are Sukhdev dhaba, Murthal, Golden Temple, Jalandhar, Bangla Sahib Gurudwara, New Delhi, Connaught Place, New Delhi, Prasads IMAX, Hyderabad, India Gate, New Delhi, Marine Drive, Mumbai, Taj Mahal, Agra, Starbucks Coffee , Connaught Place, New Delhi, PVR , MBD Neopolis Jalandha.

Top global events were added a relationship, got engaged or got married, travelled, moved, ended a relationship, first met a friend and more.
